Living life in Tulsa, OK

The past few weeks Steve and I have had the opportunity to experience some real Tulsa culture!  First, we were blessed with 2 tickets to a Tulsa Shock (Tulsa's professional women's basketball team) game.  We have both never been to a professional basketball game, so we really enjoyed it.  I think one of the things we enjoyed the most was being able to go in the BOK Center.  I state of the art facility built in 2003 for $194 million!!! Crazy!

Then, this week, we went to the Tulsa State Fair.  Steve and I kept hearing all about the fair and it seemed like a really big deal so we decided to go check it out.  Of course, we went on the 2 for the price of 1 night since we are frugal and it's kind of expensive (at least to us non-Tulsans.)  It was pretty fun, we saw some crazy fried foods, lots of people and some fun animals!  Enjoy the pictures!

Last, a few weeks ago, Steve and I went out to a restaurant called McNellies in downtown Tulsa.  Every Wednesday they have $3 burger night, so of course we had to check it out! The burgers were great!  But what was very interesting was this dumpster we saw right outside the restaurant....
